New digital venture is betting theatre, it is the key to a lucrative new-media audience. In theatre, a thrust stage (also known as a platform stage or open stage) is one that extends into the audience on three sides and is connected to the backstage. 

RK stage was used in the theater, it is open stage which also called thrust stage or platform stage. The theatrical stage without a proscenium, projecting into the audience and surrounded on three sides by the audience.

Fact that platform also referred to as a riser or rostrum, it is stationary, and is commonly used to separate areas on stage (as seating bleachers).
